    Dogs can see colors, but they can recognize fewer colors than humans. The colors that dogs can see are only yellow, blue, and gray. This is because the two cone cells on the dog’s retina can recognize short-wavelength and medium-long wavelength light waves. It is precisely because of the dog’s cone cells are few, so the dog can see fewer colors.
