The German Shepherd is native to Germany. In 1880, the German Shepherd has been fixed in all parts of Germany and used as a shepherd. He was recruited by the Germans during the First World War as a military dog. After being nurtured by the German army, it is basically shaped. In 1908 the breed was recognized by the AKC. Because of its large size, strong appearance, and strong working ability, it is active in many places around the world as police dogs, search and rescue dogs, guide dogs, shepherd dogs, watch dogs, and domestic pet dogs.
