Osteoarthritis is a degenerative bone and joint disease in dogs, and it is also a relatively common dog disease. Almost every 5 dogs over 1 year old have osteoarthritis of varying degrees. And Arthritis often occurs more common in dogs with existing or previous joint problems, such as hip dysplasia, luxating patella or cruciate ligament rupture. Although it cannot be definitively prevented, keeping your dog at a healthy body weight and maintaining a low-impact exercise routine are the best ways to keep joints healthy.
