Physical Examination: A physical examination must be done. The neute can be performed only if the dog was in good health.
Avoid Estrus: Do not perform sterilization surgery during dog estrus.
Fasting Before Neuter: Make an appointment with the doctor for the operation time, and fasting and water deprivation for 12 hours before the operation.
Bathing and cleaning: Take a bath for your dog 2-3 days in advance, because the wounds can’t be touched with water after the operation, so your dog can’t take a bath for about 10 days. Wash your dog well in advance, trim the hair a bit shorter for convenient post-op recovery, and keep warmth for your dog.
